It is important that when a child visits, emphasis is placed on the child’s well-being. This is particularly true in terms of their protection, as well as making their visit a pleasant experience.
Children may not be allowed to visit in the same way as adults. In some medical units, you need to request permission for the child to visit. In other units, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
In accordance with federal health laws and in order to promote safety and prevent disease, children under the age of 12 cannot enter the hospital as visitors.
